This place is as good as you will get in a hostel. The staff are friendly, fun, energetic people, who genuinely like to help with whatever you need. The kitchen you see in the photos - yes, that is real :) It's a small industrial kitchen and you can use everything there. I guess it could get busy on high season and if you want to make your own dinner at the same time they are serving hostel dinner (EUR10 with drinks), bear in mind you will be sharing space in the kitchen with a professional chef. But you can still use everything that's not being used. I was able to eat really well here :) There is a big communal space you can work in or hang out in in the daytime. After dinner, it becomes a bit of a party place - there are pub crawls, bar games, etc. organised and it's pretty easy to make friends if you're staying there on your own. The beds are comfortable and have power, USB chargers, lights, shelves, curtains, etc. Rooms have solid insulating doors and curtains against the light and noise from the outdoors. They have the weird heater/ AC things too, but thankfully the room was warm enough in January I didn't need to use it.
